About us
Under the name SMolis, two people of art hide - Simas and Margo. A friendship with clay, which began as a pastime, has turned into a special part of life.
We are husband and wife. When creating together, each of us contributes in our own way to the creations and the life of the studio. Both of us have a unique touch to each piece, so when purchasing a piece, you will be able to feel the harmony and sound of the two creators.
We do not pursue mass production, we focus on much simpler and more important things for us - refreshment and peace in everyday life, beauty and practicality in each piece. We love nature, so we create and pack our pieces responsibly, so as to leave the cleanest possible imprint behind us.
We invite you to experience clay therapy at the SMolis studio! Let go of thoughts, rush, allow yourself to be here and now. As the fireplace glows and hot tea steams, we will accompany you through the boundless world of clay and help you create the creations of your dreams.
Jau ne vienus metus norėjau išbandyti lipdymą iš molio. Mano Pinterestas pilnas išsaugotų molio dirbinių, tačiau vis neprisiruošdavau – akys užkliūdavo už gražių darbų, mintys sukosi apie tai vis dažniau, bet nežinojau, kur galėčiau pabandyti.
Ir štai vieną dieną, naršydama internete, pamačiau SMolis skelbimą. Pagalvojau: parašysiu. Vieta pasirodė ideali – arti namų.
Pirmą kartą eidama jaučiausi šiek tiek nedrąsiai, tačiau mane priėmė taip šiltai, kad atrodė, lyg būčiau čia lankiusis daugybę kartų. Jauki, rami aplinka, ir Margarita Glumbakė – toks šiltas žmogus, lyg būtume seniai pažįstamos. Jau po pirmo karto supratau: aš čia sugrįšiu, nes ten randu ne tik molio lipdymą. Čia randu ramybę, kūrybinį įkvėpimą ir tikrą atokvėpį nuo kasdienybės. Kartais atvažiuoju pavargusi, bet išvykstu lyg po trumpų kūrybinių atostogų.
